Steve Rutherford

From the Frontlines to the Rooftop After 22 years as a Navy SEAL Commander, Steve Rutherford brought his mission home—to help Floridians gain freedom through solar energy. He’s traded combat boots for work boots, often found on rooftops with the team, inspecting installs and ensuring every job meets his standards of excellence.

Steve’s technical background is unmatched in the industry. With advanced degrees in Applied Physics and National Resource Strategy, he has led energy system development for special operations, converted a gas-powered car into a custom electric vehicle, and directed national energy policy research. Today, he brings that same spirit of innovation and service to every Tampa Bay Solar project.

Gregg Glover

We are proud to have Gregg as both a key leader and shareholder on our Tampa Bay Solar team. Gregg brings a unique and exceptional skill set through his engineering background and his past career flying hurricane tracker planes for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). His technical expertise, combined with firsthand experience tracking Florida’s most challenging weather, provides a fresh perspective to customers exploring solar energy and ensures an organized, seamless installation process from start to finish.

Driven by his passion for helping others achieve energy independence and self-sufficiency through solar systems, Gregg finds genuine fulfillment in guiding customers through their solar journey. His engineering mindset and patient approach make him an invaluable resource, as he’s dedicated to being a helpful and considerate point of contact for all his clients. With his unique background tracking hurricanes, Gregg understands better than most the importance of reliable, resilient energy solutions for Florida families.
