Tampa Bay Solar proudly supports the Florida Solar for All initiative, powered by $156 million in EPA funding to expand solar access to low-income and underserved communities across the state.
Together with partners like SELF, Solar United Neighbors, and The Nature Conservancy, this program helps reduce energy costs, promote sustainability, and create new green jobs for Floridians.

How It Works
Grants + Special Financing = Real Savings
Starting in early 2025, eligible households can apply for grants or discounted financing to cover the cost of solar.
Funding Tiers:
- Low-income households → 100% grant (no-cost solar)
- Moderate-income households → 60% grant + special financing
- Multifamily housing → 30% grant + financing options
The program also funds job training, community outreach, and technical support for long-term success.
Who Can Qualify?
You may be eligible if you:

Own your home or have a long-term lease (renters may qualify with landlord approval)
